One has to figure out that in order to get to 5.2.4 you have to first select 7.2.4 , then you have to let the unit figure out during the calibration that the back surrounds don't exist… all that confusion and that's just the speaker configuration! Make sure the presence speaker type (Configuration > Layout > Front/Rear Presence) is set to Overhead and not to Dolby Enabled SP and see if that unlocks the crossover setting 2. I find that all of these try to do the samething but they don't all have the same amount of USER control over what can be tweaked.
