I can't express how impressed I am with this TV, this is truly a great upgrade for the price $899+tx. Unfortunately there were too many compromises in the end and Hisense support refused to work with me. None of them are backlit, however, which makes it hard to find the correct button in the dark. Even better than I expected. Add another 2.5 or so inches in height for the stand. I‘ve never bout a hisense ever. But I seen this was a roku tv and I have Comcast Xfinity as my cable provider which Roku supports their streaming app. But even 600 was enough to make HDR pop reasonably well. Hopeully they are helpful. Of course, this provides less lateral stability, but it’s generally longitudinal stability that’s worrisome with TVs. But don’t let that stop you. Incredible brightness especially after you change a setting in the display settings to sports mode.

I have Netflix as well as Amazon Prime so I was excited to see something in 4k, well pickens are slim and for Amazon Prime be prepared to pay an additional $19.99 for 4k UHD movies (pass) Netflix does offer most of their own (Netflix Produced) movies and shows in UHD 4k for no additional cost (if you have already have the higher priced plan) For the shows I did see in UHD 4k I was satisfied with the quality

If I had a place to put this I would purchase another one. Having replaced a very high-end 55" Samsung with the same sized Hisense H8F, my opinion is that the picture on this Hisense is actually better. To make a long story short, this year’s H8F does HDR way better than last year’s far more expensive H9E. It may be hard to see from the pictures, but before I even got the tv out of the box, the screen was cracked in many different places and was coming off of the panel in some areas.
