We were disappointed that they no longer serve bagel chips with your order, and the sandwiches were nothing out of the ordinary. Service was friendly and prompt, though a bit of a wait on a Sunday as to be expected. Three perfectly fried potatoes served on sour cream and applesauce. We got the Pastrami Sandwich, chicken liver, white fish tater tots and all was delicious! My husband and I visited Zaftigs for an easy Friday night dinner.
Often more than an hour with no place to wait when it is freezing outside.More.

Reubens, Rachel’s, chicken liver and my favorite French fries. There's outdoor seating well spread apart in the parking lot with picnic tables and big shady umbrellas. Many years ago when the original owners had this and it was in the old Shoppers World - which is what the old mall was called across the street - on the lower level and then moved to this location it was truly consistently good.
I asked her if they couldn't sell the items to hold those for me to pick up.
Loved the artwork and the place was super clean. We both took home leftovers. We have a great variety of beer and wine to match up with lunch and dinner. My husband and I have already decided we'll be extremely sad when we move soon as it won't be a 15 minute walk anymore. Everything served with fresh toasted bagel chips with a seasoned cream cheese spread. One bad note is, they use FAKE hollandaise, argh! They've done something new with their potatoes and I love it! We were seated very quickly and brought toasted bagels and spread on the House.
At times you can have to wait up to an hour for a table. I have lived in the neighborhood for 6 years and I cannot imagine it without Zaftigs. Our award winning breakfast is served all day; Banana Stuffed French Toast anyone? At the end of the night the latkes were still on the bill. Now I have had these same latkes about 4 times before and this was nothing like I had tasted. It will make you fat and they are proud of it. Their french toast has got to be one of the best I have had in a while and made me remember why I loved french toast in the first place. The general mood is always friendly.Unfortunately the food itself is not equally great, but just average. They seem crispier, fresher and I love the green onion & cheese sprinkles...at least I think it's cheese? Have a glass of Chardonnay with one of our made to order fresh salads or a Sam Adams Lager on tap! Anything else to note about them right now? Summary - reflective of the times.
Yup, you eat bread with nothing between it on much of the roll. Still so happy this place is around!
This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of English in Canada. They've done something new with their potatoes and I love it! There are still so many things I want to try on the menu. The one thing I would say is that the toast tasted a bit old. The falafel was really tasteless and weird - i'd recommend they revisit the recipe.
We ordered the appetizer of potato pancakes and they were definitely our favorite part of our meal. also great. For that I got Whitefish salad on a wrap, a side of potato salad, the cost for the wrap was $14. Warning, the weekend brunch lines are impossible. Those who don't know the difference may like it... but, it is a shadow of the quality and consistency it once was. Cool dining area and they have a bar and deli/dessert area too. Both the hostess and server were both very friendly. 1 photo. We dined at Zaftigs on a Sunday morning around 10am. I love this place every way you can. The paintings on the wall give this place a cheerful, unique atmosphere.
This evening I went to grab a bite with my aunt. But now... not so much. The kids menu here is great too: hot dogs, burgers, chicken, chocolate chip pancakes, french toast and more!
They were thick and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. sirloin burger, caramelized onions, swiss cheese and russian dressing on cissel, 8oz. They have a good variety and plus.. they have a gluten free option. Chocolate french toast was so dry it was inedible. Food - in my opinion - average or less than average. Lines many peak times and probably worth it. (508) 653-4442.

I wanna order again. The bloody mary was yum and omelette was so fluffy, plus I love their grainy wheat toast and crispy non-greasy potatoes. Are they offering sit-down dining? Also, I asked for it to be "over mixed greens" instead of pita and she gave me two pieces of lettuce (see picture). The least satisfactory item that I remember from several visits were the potato cakes. Claim your listing for free to respond to reviews, update your profile and much more. I sent it back. Ordered takeout and the food was completely inedible - The Newyorker sandwich was so fatty that I couldn't even eat it, I had to try re-cooking it in the oven.. really dissatisfied and disappointed, especially for the price $$$.
I get this quite a bit and they are always working their asses of to make sure their customers are happy and full. While I didn't try the corn beef hash (also served with toast and eggs), I heard it was great! They have outside seating. Nothing else is even close. Zaftigs is a no frills, hearty Jewish brunch spot, with an all day menu and no reservations. For now I will stick to coming to Natick because the mall is right across the street!
